Zero tolerance
Capital Advance operates a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption in all forms. We are committed to acting professionally, fairly, and with integrity in every business relationship, and to complying with all applicable anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws, including the UK Bribery Act 2010.
What we prohibit
No employee, contractor, agent, or representative of Capital Advance may, on our behalf:
- Offer, promise, give, request, agree to receive, or accept any bribe, kickback, or improper payment
- Offer or receive gifts or hospitality intended to influence, or that could reasonably be perceived as intended to influence, a business decision
- Make or accept facilitation payments of any kind
- Retaliate against anyone who raises a concern in good faith
Who this applies to
This statement applies to all personnel of Capital Advance and Business Credit Services Ltd, all contractors acting on our behalf, and all third parties engaged in a business relationship with us.
How to raise a concern
If you believe an act of bribery or corruption has occurred, is occurring, or is being requested in connection with Capital Advance, please contact us in confidence at complaints@capitaladvance.co.uk or write to our Data Protection Officer at dpo@capitaladvance.co.uk. Reports made in good faith will be handled confidentially and without adverse consequence to the reporter.
Legal reporting
Suspected serious corruption may also be reported directly to the Serious Fraud Office or the National Crime Agency.
